Meet the team
Michelle is the Founder and CEO of Soul Search Partners, a boutique firm of headhunters specializing in recruiting the ELT teams for Seed-to-VC-to-PE backed digital health companies. Michelle placed CEO’s at One Medical, Teladoc, Accolade, Pearl Health, Affect Therapeutics, Chamber Cardio and many more. Michelle is also a partner at AlleyCorp, an early stage venture fund and incubator launched by Kevin Ryan (co-founder of Business Insider, MongoDB, Zola) that funds transformative companies in tech, digital health, deep tech and economic infrastructure, creating 3000 jobs and raising $2B+. Prior, Michelle built her reputation as the leading headhunter in digital health in a career spanning 19 years at Daversa Partners joining when the business was six people. Prior to Daversa, Michelle spent a decade at Dow Jones for the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones International. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas.
Born and raised in Canada, Brynn brings forth an irresistible combination of small-town prairie charm, relentless drive, and unwavering hustle to the talent industry. While initially considering a career in the medical field, her profound passion for helping others, making an impact, and challenging the status quo of the healthcare system steered her towards executive search. As a Partner at Soul Search, Brynn collaborates with industry-leading digital health companies to place C-suite and VP-level professionals across pivotal roles such as product, go-to-market, and operations. Before joining Soul Search, Brynn spent seven years at Daversa Partners, where she played a crucial role in cultivating and expanding their digital health practice. Her work spanned payer services, provider, diagnostics, and wellness businesses. Notably, she placed leaders at Maven Clinic, Path Mental Health, Color, PathAI, Bamboo Health, and more. Brynn graduated with distinction from Cornell University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, accompanied by a minor in Business. Currently residing in Nashville with her partner Paul, Brynn can be found playing volleyball, pickleball or baking in her spare time.
Katherine’s areas of specialty are Incubation leadership (CEO) as well as Product and Engineering leaders. Katherine is a detail-oriented recruiter who has successfully closed searches with Affect Therapeutics, Genalyte, Beam Dental, Epirus, Hubspot and FlockSafety. Rob is a founding member of Soul Search Partners. Rob's career began with an expert networking firm, Guidepoint. With clients from Investment banking, Venture Capital, PE and Hedge Funds, he oversaw the research process before transitioning into a project management role where he worked directly with PE clients across various industries (i.e. healthcare, technology, energy, retail, aerospace and more). Rob is excited to dive deeper in the search world as it relates to healthcare technology. Rob is a graduate from Wilkes University where he was a member of the men's basketball team and received degrees in marketing and business management. Rob is an avid golfer who enjoys playing the country's hardest courses. He is a New York sports fan and loves playing basketball, listening to podcasts and being active.
Pallavi is a dynamic search professional who thrives in the realm of executive recruitment, helping to build the next generation of breakaway health-tech companies here at Soul Search. She began her career in Search2Search, consulting and constructing executive search firms, making her a strategic expert in the field. There, Pallavi focused on placing revenue-generating partners into boutique firms across professional services, financial services, and healthcare. Before her experience in search, Pallavi graduated from UC Berkeley with BA in Political Science. Certified in Transformative Mediation by the Scottish Mediation Network from her time studying at St Andrews University, her expertise reaches beyond recruitment into fostering meaningful dialogues and resolutions. Pallavi currently resides in NJ with her pup, Sammy, where she can be found reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her extended family.
